The Western Blotting Guide for Jackson ImmunoResearch is a 66 page perfect-bound informational booklet. It has physical weight to it, and the silk cover stock ensures a pleasing textural experience when handled. The booklet itself contains detailed descriptions of best practices for western blotting. The goal was to design a booklet that is usable, and has a contemporary but also pragmatic feel. Through the use of simple shapes, limited colors, kerning and leading I created an easy to read and value-packed booklet that functions as a unique and memorable item at exhibitions and conferences.
